Waiting. That's the theme of our lives at the present moment.
Waiting on a court date.
Waiting to meet our boys.
Waiting for clear instructions from God regarding how long we should spend in Ethiopia.
Waiting for paperwork.
Waiting for schoolwork to be completed.
Waiting to make plans.
Wait, wait, wait, wait.....Ugh! Sometimes I get so tired of waiting.
That would be impatience speaking.
Here is truth:
"From of old no one has heard or perceived by the ear, no eye has seen a God besides you, who acts for those who wait for him." -Isaiah 64:4
"I waited patiently for the Lord; he inclined to me and heard my cry." - Psalm 40:1
"My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning." -Psalm 130:6
"But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." - Isaiah 40:31
"The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him." - Lamentations 3:25
"O Lord, be gracious to us; we wait for you. Be our arm every morning, our salvation in the time of trouble." - Isaiah 33:2
Let me remember your TRUTH today. That you are in control of our family. That you will work all things together for our good.
In Jesus' Name,
